Open the scanner in your browser, allow the camera permission when the prompt appears, and hold the printed code about 15-25 cm from the webcam. If the webcam is out of focus or the lighting is poor, switch to the Upload Image tab and drop in a screenshot or photo of the code instead — reading from a still image does not depend on the camera at all.
